神々しい時-石川県白山市：白山

Mt.Hakusan,HakusanCity,IshikawaPref.さてさて、白山の主峰である御前峰で夜明けの時を過ごすワタクシ達ですが、いよいよ日の出を見る瞬間がやって来ました。午前5時5分、東の（厳密に言えば東北東の）空に太陽の姿が見えてきました。この時を待ち侘びて、この瞬間を目に焼き付けたくて、暗闇の中を山頂まで登ってきたのです。以前もこのブログに書いたことがあるのですが、「ご来光」というのは高い山から眺める日の出のことです。ですので町の中で見る日の出や、海で見る日の出はご来光とは言いません。もともとは「御来迎」と言い、高山の頂上で太陽を背にしたとき、前面の霧に自分の影が大きく映り、その周りに光環が見られる現象をあらわした言葉なんです。いわゆるブロッケン現象のことですね。ワタクシはこの時、太陽に...神々しい時-石川県白山市：白山

夜明け前-石川県白山市：白山

Mt.Hakusan,HakusanCity,IshikawaPref.さてさて、白山登山の二日目（8月7日）ですが、ワタクシは朝3時に起きてすぐに山小屋の外に出て空を見上げました。すると満天の星空が広がっているんです。天気予報は決して芳しくなかったのですが、夜空は見事に晴れていました。ワタクシ達は山頂に向かう準備を開始し、3時40分に山小屋を出発しました。当然夜明け前ですから周囲は真っ暗です。ヘッドランプを灯し、足元に注意しながら登山道を登っていきます。山小屋から40分かかり、4時20分に御前峰山頂に到着。ご来光を撮影するために三脚を立てることが出来る場所を探し、腰を下ろして夜明けを待ちます。朝の冷気が身体を包み、ザックから防寒着を出して着込みます。朝の4時30分、東の空が徐々に明るくなります。夜が開け...夜明け前-石川県白山市：白山
