Gym routine, use an excuse of long absence

休暇から帰って初めてジムに行きました。さすがに2ヶ月もサボったあとはきつい。「慣らし」と称してウェイトもカーディオタイムも減らしてしまうのでした。 Went to the gym for the first time after 8 week's of holiday. It's so hard to get back to the normal routine after such a long absence, so sneakily reduced the weight load and cardio time, using "recovery period" as an excuse.
