Lounge in Hotel(P11)

Club lounge in Moana Surfrider A Westin Resort and Spa was very comfortable and useful for us. Drinks in the lounge can be put in a special cup and taken back to the room. It is also possible to put mineral water in a PET bottle and take it out. I think this service was pretty good as Hawaii requires a lot of water.

Check in Hotel(P10)

We stayed Moana Surfrider A Westin Resort and Spa. Our room was changed Ocean and Diamond head view by chance. The location and view was perfect. Thank you very much.

Kona Coffee for the first time(P9)

We visited at Kona Coffee Purveyors in international market place first floor. It was very good cafeteria. Kona coffee was very easy-to-drink varieties with a mild sourness and a soft sweet aroma with little bitterness.

Arrive at Waikiki(P8)

It takes 20 minutes to arrive at Waikiki from Kakaako by bus. This was first time to arrive at Waikiki. First destination was international market place. There were lots of goods like pretty swimsuits, cloths , cosmetic and brand. I remember this brilliant place even now.

Public security in Hawaii(P7)

Do not use public toilets, go to a nearby mall or hotel.In a closed room such as an elevator, if you feel any suspicion of the passenger, get off once.Just one step off the main street can suddenly lead you into an unpopular backstreet. At that time, please return to the main street as soon as possible.Avoid going out late at night even in Waikiki.In any place, if you feel a little scared, immediately escape to a crowded place.

Payment method in Hawaii’s restaurant(P6)

This was first time to pay in Hawaii's restaurant. We were straggle to pay due to no experience in spite of that we had learned how to pay in Japan. So, it is not necessary to pay tips in the place where we bring meal by myself like food court or Starbacks.

We visited KAKA'AKO by foot after seeing King Kamehame statue. Our first meal in Hawaii was Margherita Pizza where is "Moku Ktichen" in "Salt at Out Kaka'ako". Salt at Out Kaka'aka is Complex shop gathered lots of popular shop.

We arrived at first destination King Kamehameha statue. This is first time to hear about King Kamehameha was the first king of Hawaii. It was fun to go sight seeing by ourselves. In the next time, I will look into details information of the place I want to go. This will be more interesting when I saw it.

There are 4 kinds of means of transport in Oahu island. These are "The bus", "Trolley", "Taxi", "Rent car". Our best recommendation is "The bus". You can go anywhere and freely get on and off many times once buying 1 day pass that cost is $5.5. It is unlimited travel pass entire day. Furthermore you can use app that name is "Da Bus" for smart phone. It can see where bus is when bus is coming the bus stop. It very convenient for traveler. And it is free download.

We arrived at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport at 10AM 23d May 2018. And we went to Waikiki by ourselves without JAL tour service in spite of first time visit here to go KAKAAKO and DOWNTOWN on our way to Waikiki. There were lots of kind person here.
