NHK「鎌倉殿の13人」の頼朝の小仏について。 歴史研究者 「頼朝の髻観音は、たしかに『吾妻鏡』に書かれている。 しかし『吾妻鏡』は一次史料ではなく、当時の日記などを複数引用して成り立っているもので、 この『洞窟の頼朝』の一節は神話の可能性が高い。 それゆえ、過去の歴史研究者は頼朝の髻観音に触れてこなかった」 しかし、私は30年前から、兜に秘める小仏を全国で20体ほど発見してきた。 その結果、戦士たちが兜に秘めた小仏が実際に存在することが明らかになり、頼朝の髻観音は現実味を帯びてきた。 冑佛(かぶとぼとけ)の現存をふまえて、私が数年をかけて『吾妻鏡』「洞窟の頼朝..
